Rodrigo2013-tratada

Prof. Dr. Rodrigo Queiroz de Albuquerque
Group Leader of the Laboratory of Supramolecular Chemistry

Introduction.

I was born in 1976 in Natal (Brazil) where I got a Bachelor degree in Chemistry. Then I moved to Recife (Brazil) to do a Master and PhD in physical chemistry in the field of spectroscopy and theoretical chemistry applied to lanthanide compounds. Afterwards I went to Switzerland and finally to Germany, where I got the Alexander von Humboldt fellowship to work with supramolecular systems like dye-loaded zeolite L crystals. After seven years in Europe, I presently live in Brazil where I work as a professor at the São Carlos Institute of Chemistry in the University of São Paulo (USP), working with supramolecular systems, among others (click in “Research” in the above menu for more details).
